Be patient with yourself, take it slowly and don’t expect too much, too quickly.
Try to avoid judging your mindfulness training. Never look for perfection in your practice, simply keep going from one technique to the next as part of the training journey.
Over time, you’ll feel the change. You’ll find what works best for you personally. In the meantime be kind to yourself. Remember that you’re working to let go of habits you’ve built over a lifetime.
